WAKE ME UP cause i must be dreaming
D
aisuke walked, well more like bounced, toward the lounge. His ipod was blasting Gazette, a Japanese rock band, into his ears. His walk down the hallway had been filled with plenty of air guitar, head banging, with hops and skips between steps. His black converse low-tops made little squeaks on the floor as he turned into the student lounge. His chestnut hair was rather flat today; long-ish in the back, and short layers that normally stood up along with some uneven bangs. Unlike usual where his hair would defy gravity with help of hair wax and bunches of hair spray. His dark brown almond shaped eyes scanned the lounge. Their weren’t a lot of people there, a few here and there. No one he knew though, They where all mainly studying or talking... what was the fun in that? He had his black and white checkered massager bag hanging over his shoulder filled with mainly Math and English books. His two worst subjects. And a camera; He always brought his camera with him everywhere. Who knows when you’ll run into a single moment you’ll want to remember forever. And pictures, for Daisuke, was just that, a way to always remember. To tell the truth he was afraid to forget.
He didn’t really fit in anywhere at Dayton Academy. But this being his first year at the school wasn’t the only reason for this. He was a complete spazz, He was the one who literally bounded down the hallways between classes. He could talk a mile a minute despite the fact he had only been speaking English a year and a half, give or take a little bit. Today he was dressed in a pair of shorts, and a black, white and pink t-shirt along mismatched socks; one pink the other purple. He had a wrist band on both wrists and a bandana hanging from his back pocket. He dressed quiet a bit differently from everyone else at the school. He was happy doing most of his shopping from thrift shops and second hand stores. They always had really cool cheap stuff, and you where almost always guaranteed they no one would own the same clothes.
His bouncy walk carried him over to a empty table where he sat placing his feet on the table top legs crossed. He placed his hands lightly behind his head black painted fingernails mixed in with his soft brown hair. He let his eyes glance from person to the next. No one was doing anything interesting. He hadn’t got much done that day; He had won a staring contest with some senior he didn’t know. He had also downed a cup of coffee he really didn’t need, He had taken a few pictures of random stuff around campus, fell down, climbed a tree, made some guy think way to hard about a stupid question and then there he was, now in the lounge... doing nothing. School books ready to be studied but instead he tipped his chair backwards so it stood on two legs now. He didn’t want to spend his free time studying, anyways if he didn’t understand it when the teacher said it, what good would studying it do?
