BOY TOY AUCTION « Thread Started on Sept 13, 2008, 12:21pm »
This is the thread for the Boy Toy auction! A few rules are needed so everyone can get their boys in and out of the thread as quickly as possible.
boys with pre-won bidders will go first so the plots can get started. boys without pre-won bidders will go last so you have more time to either find someone, or it will not take a long time for the thread to end. girls, you can make-up other girls (that are not on the site) to be bidding against you. more than one girl can bid, the host can stop the bidding at anytime, but only up to 3 can bid. this is no different from any other roleplay thread! you need 200 words or more in your post! i understand it's hard to make 500 words out of a short amount of time like this but there's no one-liners or 50 word replies! if you would like to create more drama, more than one girl can bid on the pre-wons but the pre-won will always win. let's try not to create fights, if you need to do that, create that thread outside this one. HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Jules stood at the curtain, staring out at all the people coming in, some guys coming late, some girls ready and excited for the boytoy auction. Jules was also excited, she was going to buy someone as well, but she wasn't sure who to buy quite yet. She stared down at her wrist watch, she sighed as she saw there was only a few minutes til showtime. She glanced at her order paper, Spenser, Evan, Matt, Steele, Geoff, Dawson, Justin, Austin, Cameron, Jayden and Cory. At least, this was her shift. She glanced around, looking for Spenser, she wasn't really friends with him and she didn't want to be, but right now she had to be professional, along with all these guys. She figured Cameron was off with Cory and Austin somewhere. Spenser was probably hanging out with the jester kids or something, like Evan, Geoff, and Dawson. But Jayden she had actually never heard of. It was awkward, she mostly knew everyone. All well. The sponser started to push her on stage, she put on a fake smile, "Hey there Dayton Academy ladies! I know you are totally ready for me to bring your eye candy out, but before I do I have to go over a few rules. All bids start at $20 minimum. No fighting in the middle of the bidding, you will be taken out of the gym. Remember, it's all bros over hoes tonight so don't feel bad about stealing your bff's beau. Let's get it started, shall we?" Jules walked to the middle of the stage, "Our first guy is a senior here at Dayton, and everyone's favorite prankster. He's a guy that love making people laugh, and could sweep you off your feet with his sweet words and actions. Evan Anthony Chambers," Jules glanced out at the audience and reminded them again, "Remember no less than $20, but the sky's the limit."
Evan stared at the mirror the staff had put in the back for the guys. Who had made him sign up for this? Infact, what the hell was going through his head when he just so happened to decide this would be a good idea? He felt his heart rate get faster and faster. Even though he had a girlfriend, it was still nerve wrecking. What if she didn't buy him or something? Or what if there was this other girl madly in love with him and SHE bought him? It's a scary thought. He tuned out the conversation next to him, he was talking to Dawson a minute ago, but he thought he went off somewhere to find Geoff. But, what did he expect? Those two were almost inseperable. He glanced up as he heard someone call his name. He bit his lip, sitting for a moment right were he was. He sighed nervously and stood up, making his way for the stage. He could see Jules there announcing random facts about him, suprisingly they weren't rude, or bitchy. For once she actually told the truth. She's up to something, he could tell. He walked onto the stage, a room full of girls with their bidding signs sat with grins on their faces. Scratch that. Jules isn't up to something, they all are. He stood with a smile on his face, hopefully this is as short and as unpainful as possible.

Rachelle rolled her eyes as Jules explained random facts about some other guy. This was getting incredibly boring, and Rachelle had basically tuned out of the whole auction. She was just thinking of random things, like how she needed a laugh, badly. Suddenly, a shy looking boy walked onto the stage, and Rachelle couldn't help but giggle. Who had volunteered him? Looking around the gym, Rachelle sighed. Well, she did need a laugh, and here was an opportunity... An evil grin spread across her glossed lips as she stood. "Twenty dollars over here, Jules," said Rachelle, trying to refrain from laughing her head off. Her brown eyes darted back to Evan, and then to Jules. Why had she even gotten up? No one else was. No one that she could see, at least. Looking around once more, Rachelle sighed quietly. A good laugh wasn't worth this humiliation. I mean seriously, Evan Chambers is so... gross, Rachelle thought. But of course. Anyone who wasn't in a respectable clique was totally gross and disgusting to her.

Tegan glanced at her watch, a frown drawn across her features. Shit, shit, shit. She wasn't entirely sure how so much time had passed, but it had. She'd sat down at her computer with just over an hour to go until the auction, and an IM had popped up on her screen. Soon, she was so wrapped up in talking to Tyler that... well, that it wasn't soon anymore. She was ten minutes late, so by her watch... well, she hoped that they wouldn't have started yet. If they had, though... Mentally, she went through the order in her mind. Assuming that they'd waited for her- and they would, wouldn't they? At least for a little while- they should still be on the first guy, if they'd even started. That was, she was pretty sure, Spenser. So she wouldn't miss anything big. Not really.
Pushing open the doors to the backstage area, she entered, flustered. "I'm late," she announced to no one in particular. She listened for a second to the bidding going on on the other side of the curtain- was that Rachelle she heard?- before scanning the room. As the prices rose, she went through her mental checklist. Spenser wasn't here- twenty dollars- he must have been auctioned off. Jules wasn't- twenty-five- but she must be the one doing the auctioning, she was supposed to share that job with Tegan anyway. And Evan- thirty- wait, where was he? Breath catching in her throat, Tegan looked around. Evan wasn't there- was he late, too? Had he chosen not to show up? Or maybe... turning towards the curtain, she heard it before she had time to peek at the stage. "Evan Chambers, sold." She frowned. Who the hell had bought him? "to Rachelle Montague." Blinking, Tegan froze. Evan. Had been sold... to Rachelle. Because she'd been late. What. The. Hell. Still slightly reeling from the shock, Tegan took the clipboard that was being thrust at her, glancing at it but not really comprehending any of the words on it. This was no big deal, she told herself. Rachelle probably just wanted... a laugh, or something. Tegan would have to explain, she'd have to tell her about her and Evan, but she'd understand. Rachelle was bitchy, but she wasn't heartless. And sure, maybe Jules hadn't exactly reacted... ideally. But in the end, it had turned out okay, hadn't it? She didn't openly hate on Evan, or their relationship. It was almost like she accepted it. If Jules was okay with it, Rachelle should be, too- and she should let Evan off for his week of slavery. Yeah. That was all she had to do, she'd just... explain it to Rachelle.
Shaking her head, she bit her lip, half-hoping that when Evan came back stage he'd look over at her so she could shoot him an apologetic glance. He didn't, which wasn't surprising, since she was standing out of sight anyway. Or, if he did, she didn't see it. As soon as Evan was out of sight, Tegan came out on stage, smirking at the audience. "No," she said, regaining her composure rather quickly, once she was on stage. "I'm not up for auction, sorry boys." She winked at the audience, glancing at her clipboard, watching Jules depart. It was starting to look like she wasn't going to get to talk to anyone until this whole hellish ordeal was over. "Next up, though, is Matt Harwin. Trust me, ladies, this one's a catch. He's not the most outspoken around here- can't say I blame him, though- but when he does speak, he's a sweetheart. Let's go ahead and start the bidding at twenty dollars."

Jules glanced around the room. Ooof course no one wanted to buy Evan! He's so immature and annoying. Thankfully, Rachelle and her had a plan to buy decoys to be their slaves for a week. Jules smirked as Rachelle finally placed her bid. She glanced around the room silent for a while longer. As long as Tegan didn't come in soon, she was okay. She noticed the doors begin to open, she panicked. "Sold for twenty dollars," Jules shouted as she saw it was Tegan, "To Rachelle Montague." She glanced at Evan, "Just go down those stairs and go into the waiting room they showed you earlier," she told him, but not exactly in a sweet way. She glanced at Tegan, "I'm going to switch it off to the other host of tonight, Miss Tegan." She stepped off stage, letting Tegan go on now. She pasted Rachelle whispering, "I'm buying the next guy, it's time to show these kids that the Sharkettes are not as soft as they think they are. It's Matt Hartwin," She sat in the seat next to her, waiting patiently for Matt to come up now. Hopefully she won't have to watch some slut buy Cameron, she wanted to buy him but she won't chase him.

Who would buy him? Matt wondered this as he stood back stage. The hostesses were trading off, and he watched Jules gracefully leave the stage to go sit down to Rachelle Montague. He ran a hand nervously through his dark blond hair and took a peak out at the audience. Did this many girls really go here? He could feel his heart race at the anxiety of it all as he looked out at all the faces. He always had problems talking with girls, even though he lived with three. He’d been quiet and shy since he could remember. Matt sighed, trying to calm his nerves and tugged lightly at his shirt. Tegan made her way upstage and began to introduce him. This was that moment he knew he’d been dreading. Sure, he was beyond nervous over all of it, but he knew he’d survive it. He hoped anyway. Nothing would be worse than if he passed out from all the worries clogging his brain.
“He’s a sweetheart!” Tegan said as Matt made his way onto the stage. That made him smile. What other crazy things did she have written down about all the guys in this thing? He could be a complete jerk, and she’d never know. It wasn’t like they had ever talked before. Or maybe they had. No, Matt would have probable broke into a babbling fit if a girl like Tegan ever said “hi” to him. He’d definitely never spoken to her before. Mat turned to look out at all the girls, his nervous little smile still stuck on his face. It was too late to have any regrets now. Hopefully in a few minutes a girl would buy him, and he could be on his way to please her for the next week. Maybe if he was lucky he’d get the courage to at least talk to a girl outside of his family.

Jules stared deviously at the boy as he walked up on stage. Jules knew this was wrong, when it came to being in love with Cameron, she wasn't the same person. But she really had to stop and wonder, was this going anywhere? Anywhere, at all? No, he was off sleeping around with other girls while she sat around in her dorm room with her phone at hand waiting for him to text him back. Even though she knew that he wouldn't get to it until the next morning. Jules shook her head, trying to shake the memory from her mind. She knew that this had to be done, people thought she was going soft. She wasn't! Does this look soft? Matt looked nervous, she wondered if he even knew her name, probably. Who didn't know her name? Please, Selena Juliet Westwood, AKA Jules?! Everyone knew the name, it shivered up girls spines when it was spoken and made the boys overly excited by the sight of her passing by. She stood up, after hearing a few bids, she could beat it though. $25? $40? Please, try this on for size, ladies, "I have $100 for the win, Tegan," she smirked at her friend, she would win this battle. Better luck next time, girls.

Tegan nodded slowly when Jules hissed into her ear on her way out to the podium, only half-understanding. She'd heard something stupid about the sharkettes and boys they weren't interested in, but she'd assumed it was a rumor- just like ninety percent of everything around here seemed to be. Obviously not. Still, she auctioned Matt, only just naming the opening price when Jules spoke, her voice filling the entire auditorium. Tegan hated it when she did that. It made her feel so... insignificant. "Sold!" she cried, smirking at Jules. "To Jules Westwood, lucky guy." She bit her lip, glancing down at the sheet. Rachelle had bought someone she didn't like, and now Jules. Did that mean it was Tegan's turn? Was she supposed to buy some loser and laugh it off for a week with the other two? Somehow, she didn't think that would fly too well with Evan.
Careful to keep her expression unfaltering, she read the next name off of the list, silently praying that Evan would be backstage waiting for her when this whole ordeal was over. "Steele Wilson," she said, leaning into the microphone. "Not only is he nice to look at, he's kinda witty, too. Again, twenty dollars."
