GEOFFERY SCOTT BEARING
basic information;
full name: Geoffery Scott Bearing. nicknames: Geoff, Scotty. age: 17. grade: Senior. gender: male sexuality: bi
their inner beauty;
personality: GOOFY:: Geoff is always out to get a good laugh out of someone. Despite living a pretty hard life, he always tries his best to make everyone around him happy. And what better way than pulling pranks, making jokes, and doing little stunts down the hallway. He lives for a good time, and nothing is going to stop him from getting it. Life’s to short to not make it fun. He may not be any Dane Cook, but he’ll always be Goofy Ol’ Geoff.
TALKATIVE:: There’s always something to be said, and I don’t mean those generic “hey, what’s up?” conversations. Geoff will find something to talk about, whether it be about a dog he saw chasing a squirrel that morning, or how a cloud looks like a shoe print. When there’s people around, Geoff can’t stand the quiet. Plus, talking is the best way to learn about other people, and Geoff has always been one to take learning seriously. After all, he’s not going to fail out and have to fall back on Daddy’s money.
SHY:: Really? You’d never guess that the boy running down the hall, sticking “free condoms! See Victoria Farewill!” on everybody’s lockers as shy. Perhaps, Geoff masks his nervous habits with his jokes. In fact, that’s exactly what he does. Geoff has always been really shy when meeting new people, and in middle school it got worse around girls. His mother always said, “everyone loves a good joke”, so Geoff became the class clown. He figures doing something awesome and having a girl come up to compliment him is a much better strategy then trying to talk to her first. Of course, it’s not like he refuses to talk to girls first, he just gets a little nervous.
QUIRKY:: He’s always had that weirdness about him. He’s one of those people who thinks of something in the middle of math class and snickers to himself, getting weird looks from everyone around him. He’ll do things you wouldn’t expect, and he comes off a little “out of it” when you first meet him. He’s random, and he’ll always find a way to entertain you.

appearance: THE HEADSHOT:: Geoff has his mother’s eye and his father’s hair and mouth. There’s no mistaking him for anyone else’s child. His eyes aren’t too big or too small, and they are a rich, coppery color that almost match his hair. His skin is clear, and he’s always been thankful for that, but he has always felt like his ears were too big for his own good and kept his hair long. His hair is almost identical to his dad’s when he leaves it natural. It’s a dark brown, hanging anywhere from below his ears to his shoulders, depending on when he last had it cut. The curls are natural, but he usually like to straighten it to keep it tamed.
THE STYLE:: Geoff will wear just about anything he can fit into, which is sometimes hard to find. Mostly, you will see him in jeans and tee shirts. He loves to just be comfortable, and would rather people like him more for himself than his clothes. He owns way too many band tee shirts from concerts, and he has also worn skinny jeans more often than his regular relaxed ones. Don’t call him emo though. He just likes those styles. They fit his lithe body well, and he’s comfortable in them. That’s all that really matters to him.
THE BODY:: He was born at just over 7# and 23” long. Geoff came out long and skinny, and that has yet to change. The boy stands a good two inches over six feet, towering over most guys in his school, and he only weighs in at a fair 150-155 lbs. He’s lean, with little muscle tone. Of course, the fact that he’s a very picky eater who isn’t allowed to eat dairy, and hates red meat, hasn’t helped him in gaining weight at all. He could probably fit into his mother’s small clothes if he tried, except they’d be way too short on him.

parents:
Aria Hinsley-Bearing - Aria works hard to raise her son the best she can. At the age of 36, she is currently working two jobs, as a waitress and a store clerk. They aren’t the best jobs in the world, but they make life livable for the two. Geoff and his mom are very close. They’re all they really have family wise, and Geoff has always been a mamma’s boy.
Scott Allan Bearing - This man fathered Geoff, but that’s all he is to the boy--a sperm donor. Currently, he is 36, and as far as Geoff knows, the man is still working big time at Asylum Records in Reno, Nevada. Geoff never did get close to his always absent father, and he resents him for hurting his mother like he did. He has no clue what the man looks like now, just how he used to in the old photographs of him and Geoff nearly ten years ago.
siblings:
none. Geoff is an only child
history:
Aria Hinsley and Scott Bearing met at registration for New York University nearly 19 years ago. The two instantly clicked, and over a short time, they became closer and closer until they finally started dating. December of their freshman year, Aria realized she was pregnant. Of course, the two lovebirds knew they’d survive it. With the help of their parents [on the terms the couple stayed together and Scott finished school] the couple ended up marrying, and Aria dropped out of school so she could take care of herself and the child within her.
Almost eight months later, Aria gave birth to their son, Geoffery Scott Bearing, and her and Scott moved into a small apartment together with the infant. Scott continued his schooling, bound to get a bachelor’s degree in Music Business to help keep his family well off. Aria stayed home, raising her small son, with the help of money sent by both their parents. She couldn’t work. Her parents lived back in Nevada, and she couldn’t afford a babysitter on their limited income. But soon, Scott finally graduated and the small family moved to Reno, Nevada where Scott got his first job at Asylum Records.
The time spent helping bands record their albums, marketing concerts, and managing what was going on that weekend, meant that Scott was at work almost all the time. He came home only to eat, sleep, and bathe, and being away from her husband and isolated from other women due to having to stay home to care for Geoff was starting to get to Aria. Her and Scott would argue over things like what she wanted to do and what he had to do, and eventually, Scott began spending less and less time at home to avoid his wife. He’d put all his energy into his work, which made him rise to the top faster and faster.
There were nights during Geoff’s childhood where he’d pass out from fatigue as he waited for when his dad would come home. Other nigths, he’d curl up in his sobbing mother’s lap while she knew Scott was out with another woman. After all, there was no way Scott could’ve been only in the office for the past three days, was there? It was around this time when he really saw how much daddy hurt mommy, and his hatred grew for the man. He was going into the 6th grade when Aria and Scott filed for divorce, and Aria took Geoff away to start a new life.
The two moved to Florida, and Aria immediately went hunting for jobs. Sure Scott would send a child support check every other week, and also extra checks to help the two out, but she just put them all in a back account for Geoff to use as he wished. She finally got a job as a waitress and a cashier, and it was just enough to get the two a small apartment where Geoff had his own room and she slept on the pull out couch. She worked hard, and when the time came to get ready for high school, Geoff applied for Dayton Academy.
He got a full scholarship, so long as his GPA remained at 3.5 or higher, and he’s taken his studies seriously ever since. Of course, with all the money his father has sent him through the years, he could probably easily pay for DA and college in one lump sum, but he’s yet to touch that money, and he fears the day he will. That money is tainted with absent memories and false hopes of coming home.

There was a light thump as Noah's foot tapped the black and red soccer ball in front of him, not guiding it anywhere but just following where it went. He had his hands in the pockets of his baggy shorts, his shin guards tucked into the back pocket of his shorts, his hair seemed much redder than normal as the sun hit it and it almost clashed against his lime green tee shirt that said 'Brasil' across it in blinding yellow letters. He never did get why is was spelled wrong, but he assumed it had some sort of meaning behind it. Maybe it was just how they spelled ‘Brazil’ down south?
He was able to protect himself though from the brightness emitting from his own body by wearing his usual black, oversized sunglasses. He loved it when people teased him, saying "Those glasses were for girls" and he'd respond with stupid, quirky comment: "Who said Paris Hilton was a girl?" It made him laugh, but the teasers would give him a confused look and walk off. This was good to Noah; he never did like to fight. He considered violence to be for the violent monkey men in his high school. You know, the ones who liked to try and come off as bad ass as they could by beating up the smaller kids. Noah had never been one of those kids. Ever since one of his fathers, Tanner, came in to yell at a kid in second grade for picking on Krystal, no one had ever bothered to mess with the Labough twins. Even when Noah had much more fashion sense than the other boys, and liked his clothes to match. Which made him remember….
Noah reached into his other back pocket, the one without the shin guards, and pulled out his yellow and green beanie and pulled it on over his hair. Small little tufts of red stuck out from the ends of the beanie, and he loved it. That was his style: color. Bright read hair, lime green shirts, and yes he even owned a few pairs of colored skinny jeans. That’s what made Noah, Noah. Maybe not a lot of people agreed with it or liked it, but that didn’t keep him from having the few good friends he did.
Noah looked around quickly for a place he could smoke without being noticed, and saw a few trees, most of which in clear view of the world, and others that had people already underneath him. He rolled his eyes at the irony and sighed. What kind of camp--or any place on Earth for that matter--didn't have a place for smokers...excluding restaurants in some states. That was when he noticed one particular person sitting under a tree.
He tapped the soccer ball in that direction, following it still, and watched the girl putting lotion on her. He thought he knew who it was, and became almost certain as he got closer. He glanced down at his watch. "Sun block time," he muttered almost understandingly. He was right. It was Serafina. He sped up his step a bit and directed the ball over next to her, jogging to it quickly and placing a foot on top of it as he leaned against the tree and looked down at her. Hey, Sera. That time of day again?" he joked with her before rolling the ball backwards a bit and sitting down on it, not caring if he got it lopsided or not. Tanner or Ty would just buy him a new one. His dads definitely spoiled him and Krystal way too much.
